The Couple
Nirvana by the Groom
Nirvana was born in a small town in England called Hitchin. She has lived in the UK, Iran and in the USA. She has been all over the world. Adventured the Amazon... traveled by river boat to remote places, peed in the jungle, and even lived in the mountains of China to learn Kung Fu with Shaolin monks. She tells me it was common there for students to go to hospital with broken bones.
She is kind-hearted, funny, intelligent, committed, and super hot. When she smiles her eyes twinkle, and it still takes my breath away. She is a global expert in Regulatory Technology (RegTech). I actually knew what that was. Secretly, I think maybe that's how I took her off the market. She literally wrote the book on the subject. Among others.

No but seriously, this difference in words used, it reflects our relationship. And, three years in we still have moments where actual word differences between English and American surprise us. This often leads to bewilderment then laughter.
Robert by the bride
In my early thirty's I was walking in Soho, New York City when I was approached by a street psychic. He insisted on reading my palm. Ten dollars later, he told me I would marry in my mid-forty's. My husband would be an American with dark hair and blue eyes. And he will be very tall. So tall that he stands above most people, and part crowds when he walks. He looks like Superman.
I walked away slightly annoyed because; a) I didn’t want to wait until my forty's to be married! b) I didn't want a husband with blue eyes I liked green eyes! And c) I’m 5'3" what would I do with a tall husband that parts crowds?! So I decided to take the words with a pinch of salt! I mean what would a street psychic know anyway!?!
Fast-forward fifteen years, my Robert has dark hair, blue eyes, and at 6'4" he definitely parts crowds when he walks, he has presence, you know –just like Superman! 😉 oh and when we met he was wearing a Superman t-shirt!
Roberts first business was a carrot stand. From what he’s told me and what I know about him, he’s always had an entrepreneurial spirit, he is very wise and gives very sound and good business advice, and he’s always ahead of the curve.
Not only is he handsome, and melts my heart every day, he is kind and caring, thoughtful and patient. He has tremendous faith, and he wears his heart on his sleeve. He is not afraid to show love and humanity. He is respectful and travelled. Cultured and open-minded.
He is my rock. In him, I have found my love, and my home. He brings out the best in me, and makes me be the best version of myself every day. I'm blessed and grateful that he chose me, because I choose him in every moment, every minute, every lifetime, over and over again!
